Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Paris Fashion Week

Categories:Fashion

We have already seen the gorgeous McQ by Alexander McQueen spring 2015 rtw collection launched in the framework of London Fashion Week and now we turn our eyes towards the Parisian catwalk to see what the designers of the main line of the luxurious English fashion house have prepared. Awe-inspiring, dramatic, edgy and just so McQueen is the brand-new Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2015 collection, designed by talented Sarah Burton.

Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2015 Collection - Paris Fashion Week

In comparison to the collection presented in the English capital, this collection was more mysterious, moody and extravagant. The inspirations behind the label’s creations have always been unusual; its designers have always demonstrated their profound interest in everything mysterious, unidentified and incomprehensible. A perfect proof of these ideas is the new Alexander McQueen spring 2015 collection. It all started with the representation of models. Call them geishas, or warriors, but you have got to admit McQueen models were something. With black taped on kabuki masks, the models predicted the overall mood of the collection even before the first pieces were shown on the catwalk.

The collection was majorly set in dark color tones, particularly in black. In the first few pieces, the color had been combined with light pink to create bell-sleeved, floral-patched mini dresses with Roman collars, puff-sleeved tops matched with shimmery A-line skirts, floral-patched black satin dresses with rather interesting necklines and so on.

Before adding slightly brighter colors to the collection, Sarah Burton created several black and white pieces, which looked extravagant, yet crisp and neat. Black and white Italian collar dresses with slit bell sleeves, black puffy-sleeved dresses with white florals and patent belts around the waists and all-white long dresses with ruffly hems looked just impressive.

Burton also had relied on the powerful combination of black, white and red to add some edge and sophistication to the collection. The pieces mainly featured strappy long dresses, shiny coat-like long dresses with belts, the short version of those worn over matching pants, high waistline midi dresses with chiffon sleeves and wide leg jumpsuits in black, splashed with white and red patterns. Of all-black pieces, particularly noteworthy were netty short dresses with shimmery details around hems and along straps and long belted jackets with matching pants.

However, nothing would compare to the grand finale that Burton had prepared for her spring collection. Here the dresses, which were rather ruffly and layered around the skirts, had more color, but remained mysterious and bizarre.
For footwear, the Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2015 collection offered high platform strappy gladiator sandals, which contributed to the overall mystique atmosphere of the collection.

After witnessing the Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2015 collection parade, we are more than happy to claim that the English brand has got a worthy successor for McQueen in the name of Sarah Burton, a designer who continues to maintain the high profile reputation that the brand has always boasted with!

Alexander McQueen Metal Cap Shoes From Autumn Winter Collection

Categories:Other Brands

1 / 4

Alexander McQueen prepared their models for war, put your warrior helmets and armors on and march to victory! And so they went for a battle on the SS2014 catwalk. As much as I love Alexander McQueen, I do not want to flaunt my warrior helmet down town, no matter how feminine it’s been made. But fortunately, their creativity has not yet burned out. I love their autumn fall collection and I adore their new shoe line embellished with golden cap on toe. A classic that will reflect your personal taste, subtle and yet classy. The ballerina is leaning on the Pyramid, the creation reminds us of Egypt. Wearing these shoes would definitely captivate even the great Farao if we were in the right times. Crafted from a quality that suits your addiction to chic’ness, with extravagant touches that wraps you in glam. Three styles are available, the ballerina ($860) and on the top and left, two pumps ($1,045) at Alexander McQueen.

Alexander Mcqueen Tulle Flowers Box Clutch

Categories:Other Brands

You have beautiful flowers, you have ugly flowers, but I am fascinated by Alexander McQueen’s creativity lately, so much floral clutches to choose from. They are well known for their impressive statement bags like the heroine totes, though flagrantly expensive, but worth every penny as it’s an one-time investment for a timeless, forever clutch. Tulle flowers and faux pearls takes us to wonderland, marry it with a pure white dress. With signature Swarovski encrusted skull as your clasp, I am pretty sure you will not get disappointed. Know that white leather lining is perfect for the night out or for the romantic date. Available at Matches Fashion.

LFW DIARY DAY 1

Categories:Other Brands

Margo and Me_BH_3650Hi guys! I am so excited to announce that this is a very special week as I am doing something new on the blog that I haven’t done before! A daily diary! With all of my recent travels, we have been working our booties off to capture some really awesome content that will bring you with us on our adventures to London and beyond! With this being my first time in my whole life that I’ve been to the UK, I have a whole lot to share. Let’s rewind a little and let me tell you about my first day.

NYFW was gone and done before you could say “fashion”.  But on the very last day, a London Fashion Week survival kit package arrived from Push PR London packed with a few travel essentials like the coziest socks for the plane from Scotland Shop and a cashmere sweater from Eileen Fisher. Beauty essentials from Zoeva Cosmetics, Holistic Silk and Julien Farel hair care products. And last but not least, some more than necessary reading material from Company Magazine and all arriving in a trustyTusting carry on bag. My favorite goodie however was an engraved Margo & Me necklace from I Love Designer, who doesn’t love an engraved name plate necklace!

Just a hop, skip and a jump over the pond and suddenly we had arrived to the chicest hotel, One Aldwych which is situated just across the street from the hub of all of the shows, Somerset House. Getting off of the plane, I had just one hour before my first show started. The fast paced theme song from Home Alone was playing in my head as I raced to get ready and run across the street! The street style photographers in London are no joke, it’s kind of amazing! They are all so friendly and interested in snapping your photo. I showed them a little love and look, I even made it into the (web) pages of Grazie Magazine!

Out of all of the shows that I attended that day, there was one that really stood out to me for it’s unique presentation – something that is very unique to LFW are the obscure locations and settings that presentations were done in (I loved it!). McQ by Alexander McQueen was showcasing the new Spring 2015 collection down a side alley in a chic warehouse setting. Clean, white walls with nothing but crisp campaign images gracing them housed the beautiful new collection. I can be seen viewing one of my favorite groupings in the photo above; the white eyelet pieces. Actually not eyelet, rather hole punched fabric to give it a lacey feel. You know how much I love lace! Spring by McQueen was just a dream!

We snapped a few photos around the quaint neighborhood that the venue was located. It was a quintessential London street and the sun was setting so beautifully – golden hour! First day and I’m already in love with this city…

Bag of the Week: The Alexander McQueen Heroine Shoulder Bag

Categories:Other Brands

Alexander McQueen Heroine Shoulder Bag

Bag: Alexander McQueen Heroine Shoulder Bag

Why It’s the Bag of the Week: Although this design isn’t new, its feels fresh in this totally gorgeous shade of ultra-pale blush, with just enough black edgepaint to define its lines. I much prefer this version of the Heroine to the original tote – the closure is much more functional and intuitive on this shoulder bag.

You Won’t Believe This! A Perfect Replica Alexander McQueen Clutch!

Categories:Other Brands

Replica Alexander Wang Clutch

Do you want to know what makes me happy? When you, girls, are happy with your bags. When you ask me for an advice, you follow it and you receive the most beautiful replica handbags on the market. Not to brag or anything but I really know this replica market and that’s why I make so pertinent comments.

And the feeling that your appreciation gives me it’s unbeatable! So here I am again, thanking you for being readers of this blog, for commenting and interacting with other followers. You make my day, every day!
Back to our beloved replica handbags, here is the latest review I received from a dear friend on mine, Anna. She bought a replica Alexander McQueen clutch and I have to admit, her purse is to die for.

“Dear Eva,

I can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and dedication! I was a little skeptical about replica handbags at the beginning but you made it sound so easy for me. I followed your advice and I finally bough that Alexander McQueen clutch I was talking about and I felt in love with it. The bag is not perfect but I can live with all the small flaws.

Let me give you more details. I bought it from Iofferhandbags.co, a designer replica handbags site that you recommend. I used Western Union and everything went very fast. I received my replica Alexander McQueen clutch in 10 days.

Now let me tell you what I the flaws are. The eyes are a bit bigger, the Alexander McQueen tag inside the clutch it’s a bit crooked and I don’t think it will last long because it’s not properly attached. The interior it’s made of leather but it’s a bit stiff so the clutch doesn’t open and close so easily. What I really like about the clutch is that the colors are really nice, the patent leather part it’s not so flashy. I wouldn’t change a thing about the clutch or about the experience.

Thanks again and I hope you like my new addition!
Anna”

Honey, I love your Alexander McQueen replica purse, it’s gorgeous. You are right, it may have a few imperfections but there’s nothing to worry about. Replica purses as good as these are hard to find and they are definitely an asset. Enjoy your clutch and the many other replica purses to come!

What do you think, girls? Is this replica Alexander McQueen clutch the best, or what?
